Critical Reasoning Principles (GMAT, GRE, LSAT), Learn the basics of Logic and Critical Reasoning: Principles, Rules of Logic, and Logical Mistakes.
Course Description
In this course you will learn the basics of logic you’ll need for the Critical Reasoning section of your exam (GMAT, GRE, LSAT).
You will also be able to apply what you’ll learn into improving your reasoning skills in your daily life.
Some students believe that studying for a test such as the SAT or the GMAT, which include reading, math, and grammar sections, is the same as reading, learning math, or learning grammar. Students are incorrectly led by typical academic education into believing that a test is always measuring their knowledge, their ability to retain information, or their intelligence.
The truth is, when you study for these tests, you’re doing just that: study for a test. So, your goal is not to learn math or grammar, or to completely understand the passages you’re shown in the reading sections; your goal is to understand exactly what the test is asking from you, and to perform accordingly.
Following the way of the test implies understanding the exact test you’re dealing with: the question types, the alternative types, the common mistakes to avoid, and the strategies to apply. Each test has its own way, and our goal is to understand it and follow it.
