Loom Fundamentals
Loom Fundamentals, Learn All About Loom Video Messaging.
In this course you will learn all about Loom and all it’s features. How to get up and running with it and how to use it.
Loom is a video messaging tool that helps you get your message across through instantly shareable videos. With Loom, you can record your camera, microphone, and desktop simultaneously. Your video is then instantly available to share through Loom’s patented technology.
The difference between Loom and Zoom is that Loom is a video messaging tool and Zoom is a video conferencing tool.
With Loom, you can send a one-way video recording the way you would send a text message, Slack note, or email, and recipients can respond in their own time. Plus, the video can include a recording of your screen for more technical or visual topics (with a video inset from your webcam).
We’ll begin the course by showing how to set up Loom on your desktop or mobile device. Next, learn how to adjust settings so that Loom is tailored to your work style, including handy keyboard shortcuts.
We’ll go through how to record messages, such as mix of video and screen recording. We’ll also show how to adjust your videos with the built-in drawing tools and editing features in Loom. Finally, learn how to share videos 1:1, distribute your videos to a team, or publish them online.
By the end of this course you will have a good understanding on how to Loom.
