Course Description
I have worked with multiple startups to define and refine their positioning, helping them to increase sales and growth as well as attract investment.
Positioning can be make or break for a startup. It can mean the difference between having an amazing product and having a successful product that sells. It is a key component of a startup that investors value highly.
In this course I will be sharing my experience of positioning and by the time you have completed it you will have learned
1. What exactly positioning is and why it’s so important
2. How it can help your company to increase sales and growth
3. How to apply it in practice in product management, sales and marketing
4. And how to leverage it to attract investment
You will learn the difference between positioning and messaging. Many people think these are the same but positioning is a fundamental part of not just marketing but also sales strategy and even, more importantly, product development.
You will see how positioning and product development work hand in hand in an ongoing feedback loop to ensure your product meets the real needs and expectations of your target market.
This course includes 3 sections. The first gives an overview of positioning while the second section looks at the process of defining positioning. Section 3 will show you how to put that positioning into practice.
During the course I will show you real world examples of positioning from my own experience.
