How to Evaluate Resume Writers
How to Evaluate Resume Writers, Insider Input from an ACTUAL Resume Writer + What to Expect From ANY Writer at 3 Different Price & Service Levels.
Course Description
Unlike many course instructors, I’ve been actually WRITING RESUMES professionally for 15+ years, and literally working on hundreds (likely 1000+ resumes). I’ve worked in this business in about all the different ways you can (non-profits, college career centers, as a contract writer for other resume service businesses and, on my own in my business) for more than 15 years.
I want to help job seekers understand that not all resume writers, or resume writing services, are created equal. The quality, and price, of any writer/service will vary greatly sometimes, based on the factors I go over in the class.
I hope this will help each student / job seeker choose the type of service that is the best fit for THEM, all things considered (their career level budget, time available, understanding of what makes a good resume (or not), etc.)
How to assess RESUME WRITERS or writing services
We’ll go over:
· What to look for in an ok, good, and great writer – and what to avoid
· The price range/details of writing/service quality to expect at 3 different levels of pricing
· If the writer you already hired did a good job – or not
As a bonus, I include my 20 page pdf guide “Do You Really NEED a Resume Writer? (or Can You Just DIY (Do-it-Yourself?) to help you decide!
